PUNKAHARJU CYCLING

The cruise from Tynkkylän lomaniemi to Kongon lossi takes about an hour and you can take a sauna bath (5€/person), buy some beverages and enjoy beautiful landscapes with our Polaris 1 ship.

Punkaharju Cycling Route

Punkaharju has been an internationally known travel destination for over 200 years. Amid lakes and forests, there is a magnificent circle route that also includes a unique cruise on Lake Saimaa. The starting point for the route is the village of Punkaharju which can also be reached by train.

The route departs from the Punkaharju tourist area, where the choice of accommodation ranges from B&Bs to cottages and hotels. Rental bikes are also available. The route meanders through esker landscapes and pine forests. On the way, one can take a dip in refreshing Lake Saimaa and stop by many interesting places.

The cycling part of the route is about 65 kilometers, and in addition, there is an hour cruise in the Saimaa ringed seal waters of Lake Saimaa. During the cruise, one can buy some snacks and coffee. It is also possible to stay the night on the boat. In addition to cabin accommodation, the price includes a light dinner, breakfast, and the free use of kayaks and SUP boards.

Overnight:
